Everyone always wants to know price so I thought I would add pricing to this post. 2009 price in my studio for this mount would be approx.. 1750.00. The base is 36"tall and has a marble top and bottom. Overall height is 6' 9". Back of the Zebra is finished with leather.

Looks great Jerry. The skin on the pedestal is a good way to display the unique pattern that the Hartmans have along the spine.

Jerry, I've got to say this. Of ALL the work you've posted here, that zebra is just the very best. A pedestal mount sometimes lacks character, but with that guy, I didn't even notice the back panel. Beautiful animation.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
