If you wear a Stormy Kromer railroad type hat, drill a hole in the root section of two of them, and tie them into the hats bow tie. They look great.

You can also put them on some braided leather and hang them from the skull cap of a bull elk Eureopean mount.

You could have a ring made or maybe a money clip.

These folks: www.kfb-jewelers.com specialize in making jewelry out of elk ivory.

I had a pair of earrings made from Scottish hill stag ivory for my late wife and they did a great job--fast, too, and reasonable.

I have my elk ivory in cup in my bedroom. One day I hope to do something with them. I hope to add to the cup this winter.

The money clip is a very cool idea.

I've wanted just a simple leather necklace, like some guides wear, with the teeth on it, but a) I don't want it to look like a Boy Scout merit badge project and b) I don't think I'm enough of a hippie to actually wear it anywhere.

I did have a belt buckle made - very bad experience. This guy used to be a big exhibitor at DSC, "bring your ivory" email prior to the show, etc. He said he'd put the ivory in to look like a hoofprint, with gold antlers on each side. Unbelievable number of messages left for him, way after he said it'd be ready and I get the tackiest, brightest piece of crap and, as an added bonus, the ivories look like eyes, the antlers look like eyebrows, so I've got this buckle that looks like "Kilroy" (I'll let you figure out what would form the nose) over my crotch! Send it back, months more waiting and I still have a piece of crap sitting in the back of my dresser that will never see daylight (except for when my son and I have had a little too much to drink and I bring it out for laughs) and a new personal record for "most expensive stupid mistake". I know I should have demanded my money back, but the jerk just simply tired me out; nobody ever answers the phone, "busy, busy, busy" when he'd finally call back, etc., etc., kinda like some of the taxidermy nightmares posted on here. I'm torn about naming him, character assasination via internet, etc., but if you want to avoid him, send me a PM and I'll tell you.

I have been blessed to kill another bull, but I'm pretty gun-shy to let anyone do anything with the ivories.

Sevens - Who did the money clip? That "jackalope" is a damn site better than my belt buckle "eyebrows"!

Unfortunately guys, it's just a photo I found on google. Their website says they make them for hunters using the hunter's elk ivory though. Here's their website.
