Myself and my father have both used Knights Taxidermy and D&C Taxidermy/Expediters,both in Anchorage(6 brown bears total). Both did excellent work with D&C being the faster of the two. You will not go wrong with either one.

You might want to check out Joe Romero at Aurora Taxidermy in Anchorage. It's been a few years since I was in his shop but he's a "high end" taxidermist who does superior work.

Ditto that. Joe is the best there is in the state.

Joe is very meticulus. Hell of a good artist. I wouldnt think twice about turning anything into him for a mount. He's pricy and has turned down work, but its worth it.

I'd give him a hollar.

A lesson in irony

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us... "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

Thus ends today's lesson in irony.
