Hey guys any recommendation on how to go about selling a taxidermy collection? I have tried local auctions with no success, written taxidermy shops who claim to buy/sell and also tried to post on craigslist (bets removed by politically correctness police). Any suggestions? Have some great stuff but need to move it...

List it here, also at taxidermy.net, last but not least the dreaded ebay. Regardless what I think of them they sell a lot of taxidermy most of it bad. So anything decent should go well. Down side is putting up with their politically correctideas of what can be liisted. Best to list it with pictures and asking prices posted up front. Gunbroker also has a taxidermy section.

List what you have with the asking price. Be sure to post when it was taken/mounted and in this case, size does matter. A 24" Impala would draw more interest than a 16" Impala, just like a 180 B&C Deer as opposed to a 110 deer. I would have good photo's in case anyone interested would like to see them. Not any real need to post pics until you have some serious interest, unless your selling on E-blow.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

Rock;

Depending on what you are selling and where you live there may be regs and laws to consider.
