My zebra rug had a small patch made of hide on it that has come off. Is there an adhesive that you can recommend to reattach it? Thank you!

I had a claw come off a grizzly bear rug; super glue has kept it on, albeit with copious amounts. Rug is 30 years old now; fur still looks great. I have a zebra skin on my TR floor that is falling apart due to a bad seal on the French doors next to it; water made it fall apart. Oh well, I have two just sitting in the garage and another one the way.

I'm sorry but bells go off when I read this. Repairing that rug is the least of your problems I fear. With a zebra rug, I'd ask where it was tanned and who tanned it. If it was done in Africa, I'd bet a dime to a dollar you have "acid burn" and the likelihood of this issue coming up again is quite high. RETIRED Taxidermist
