I have about 8' of backstrap that I have had tanned from a Hippo I shot in Zimbabwe. I'd like to have a whip or sjambok made from this - Any idea of who might make these? The two local taxidermists wish me luck. Jeff | ||

Call Tandy leather Co. (Radio Shack owns them) You might find someone who is experienced enough to do the job. Otherwise, call on Western "Cowboy" shops. They usually have contacts. Some of the Mexicans are top of the line leather workers.
