Kyler ,

Most pillows are 12"x12" OR 18"x 18"
depends on the Skins and how many pillows wanted.
Skin on skin ( front and Back of pillow
made from your skin ) $35 + shipping ( actual)
Skin and some kind of Material $40 + shipping
Average Embroidery $ 20 each ( depends if we can find a Pattern )
The Kudu's were 40,000 stiches.
Turn around time from when the Skins are recieved is about 1 week.

I will post more Pictures next week , We are making WhiteTail Hair on With Camo Backing.
Also Gems Bok Pillows.
These are Closed pillows Can't wash.

Very nice work Ann. I'll be sure to pass this along to my clients. Most of us have boxes full of back skins that are worthless as is. This is a good solution to the "what do we do with these." Please post more.
Thanks,
David

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

I would think maybe 5 or 6 depends on Size of the Zebra and that would be Skin to Skin.

Ann,

I'd be really interested in the whitetails pillows for my parents hunting camp. How much would it cost to start from a raw hide? How many pillows would you get from a single hide?

Thanks for your reply.

Are the prices starting with tanned or raw hides? I assumed those prices assumed a tanned tide, if so how much would it cost to tan a deer hide?

Blaser,

I really like the pillows with the embroidered backs. I have a Kudu back skin, Impala full skin, and Gemsbok back skin coming in from my 2008 hunt. I am hoping to have doeskin after deer season. If not what other materials can you use to make the back from?

I have heard from a few sources that the Gemsbok doesn't hold up well, but I have a spot in my office that they would be decorative and not get any actual use.

Do you have a website?

Thanks,
CharlesL
