if Mary and Chris are impressed, they must be some kind of special!! 4-5 years ago, i spent an afternoon walking around the SCI Convention floor looking at the taxidermy mounts with Chris. in a very non-critical way, he quietly pointed out small( and to my untrained eye un-noticeable deficiencies) in a number otherwise great looking mounts. once the "problems" were pointed out by a taxidermist/competition judge, THEN I could see them. i really look forward to seeing your work, Jerry, as it must be GREAT!

I saw this thread started by our lauded resident rugmaker and the name of a very talented taxidermist and for a moment I had a terrible thought that Mary had rugged Jerry!
Thank goodness it's just Jerry winning an award. No surprise to me given the work he shows off here all the time. Congrats Jerry!

I just turned on the TV in the middle of the afternoon and caught the last bit of some show. Must have been about the taxidermy convention, everyone was yelling: JERRY!, JERRY!, JERRY!
Very nice Jerry. Well deserved for a great taxidermist and even better person. By the way, if that was done with one of my hyena hides, I want a royalty.
