Finally installed! This is all custom made! We made castings off the ears so we can do another piece in the future.

Though this is not technically "taxidermy", it is one of the most impressive mounts I have yet seen. The level of detail and anatomical accuracy is superb

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Awesome way to thwart the whole elephant import issue.

Looks like there is quite a trophy room in addition to the mount shown.

That looks awesome!!!!!. Could you PM me dimensions at the wall, how far it sticks out from the wall and overall weight?? I am extremely interested as this would solve a problem I have been trying to figure out for years.
Thanks for posting.
