Jerry HuffakerWendell's Leopard in a tree
Wendell shot this Leopard in 1994 (or somewhere there about) and it stayed in a taxidermist freezer until last year when he went over, dug it out and brought it to me for mounting. Almost 20 yrs old , I was a bit worried, but it had been taken good care of so it mounted up nicely. Now I am going to sneak it into his house this weekend while Ann is out and make a run for it.

Jerry is a bit too humble to respond in detail. "Some awards"? I'd say so!
I'm proud to have it in my house and to see what an incredible job he did.
As for the awards, well, maybe in a month or so, he might put them on his website

for now here is a larger more detailed photo. The tree is simply amazing.

txsouthpawYou are right, Wendell. That is a beautiful mount that Jerry did, and seeing it "in person" was a pleasure. And btw, you couldn't have picked a better spot in the den to to put it!

Wendell ReichAh, so now I know who txsouthpaw is!
Thanks for the help getting it in and compliments. It's an attention grabber for sure.

txsouthpawThanks, neighbor, it was my pleasure. And the only disappointment was that Jerry didn't unload it at my house!
