I've got my goat at the taxi now, wanting to get a pedestal wall mount done. Does anybody have any pics they would share? Thanks, Mike.

Great looking poses and mounts. I'll post pics of mine when finished. I've decided on a right turn wall pedestal.

I hope to go on my first antelope hunt later this year. If i get a nice goat, is a pedestal wall mount generally more attractive than a standard shoulder mount for these animals due to their small size? i have a few whitetails mounted and an elk at the taxi, but nothing smaller. also, is it difficult to mount it to the wall and keep it stationary?

There is mine for a hunt in 2005. I built the pedistal myself.

I have since covered the allthread showing at the bottom with a ball of spagum moss

thumb Good looking mounts. Wall and floor pedestals have become my personal favorite.

Speaking of Antelope, there is still time to apply for WY. You have until March 15th. I have an excellent Outfitter who is running 100% on Antelope in WY. Many book heads come out of his areas. He does a 3 day hunt (1x1) for $1,750 and this includes motel lodging and meals (no junk, good restaurant food). License fee will run you around $277 this year. Doe tags will run under $40. If more than one wants this hunt, contact me and I'll get you an AR member group discount.

He is very good but not a booner. He scored 79+. 14 7/8 high and good mass but the prongs weren't real long - one had about an inch busted off it.

With all that said, I scored him to learn how it's done and how to field judge. I really don't care that much about scores - I care about the hunt and the memories. He is my first Pronghorn. 2005 in central Arizona.
