Wifezilla drug me out to an "antique" (junk) store this morning and I found some taxidermy that someone ruined. The sable was young and pretty light horned but what possessed someone to spray paint 40+" buffalo mounts to turn them into zebras?

Some "interior designer" had an idea.

I would offered $50 apiece for them and airbrushed them. Big Grin

If you don't have the skill to make a chicken wire and paper mache buffalo , then get a thrown away taxidermist one !

Don't let the genus-splitters from SCI see them or they will declare them a new "huntable subset" and create a new category of awards!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Too weird. What a shame to disgrace an animal like a Cape Buffalo by turning it into a clown.

Another manifestation of the "Snowflake" mentality. Nothing is right or wrong, it's just what they prefer...

A bit of acetone or laquer thinner and a cheap toothbrush and I'll bet that paint will come right off...
