This mule deer is mounted on a Joe Coombs whitetail pedestal manikin: 7224 if I recall. The whitetail head was replaced with a Buckeye mule deer head, which is more anatomically correct than the McKenzie or Jonus or Research in my opinion. The taxidermist had to split the body portion to widen it, build up the brisket, and add girth to the neck where it meets the shoulder. It was a lot of extra work but since my opinion is that most every mulie manikin I've seen sucks, I went this route. I'm glad I did.       Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns | ||
