Maybe, there is still an awful lot of common sense in ND.

It said at the end of the article that if it weren't for a recent lawsuit it would be a state issue, not a federal issue. I may have read it wrong though. I wouldn't be worried if the state handled it, Feds are another story

I have to go with, "it's a good wolf now".

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

Drummond,

You may be right, but I don't think they are classified as endangered in ND.

South Dakota actually moved them to a big game animal status with no open season. We are not part of the Federal Gov't re-introduction scam.
Now if the Feds were trying to re-establish wolves in SD, we would be screwed.

I do not believe ND is either. Doesn't make any sense to me, but it is the Federal Gov't we are talking about.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

This is funny. We thought this was over and done with around here! And it would be if the Feds wouldn't have to get involved. The wolf is listed in the regs as protected here in ND. I bet the hunter now wishes he would have followed the 3 s's. Shoot, shovel, and shut up!

exactly, SSS is the way to go. With the last S being the most important.
