I've got a cousin that lives in Rapid City that I might be visiting this year.Of course she's clueless about the hunting opportunities there. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any huntable antelope populations within a reasonable drive of Rapid City. Any tips on where there might be good areas on public land ?? Thanks. Well, I will tell you that there are many many antelope living just east of Sturgis. However, whether you find any land on which to hunt them will be another story. | |||

There are many Walk-In areas in the Northern portion of the state. Hunting can be a difficult however with a little luck and some work you can kill a goat. Call the fish and game dept for info. ****************************************************************** R.
