I have a friend that wants to kill a Buffalo. He lives in TX and could hunt a game ranch down there but he really wants to do something farther north. He would like to hunt/shoot a buffalo in the snow and would like to ride horses to get to them. He would also like to have a nice place to stay when he comes in for the evening as his wife would probably be with him. This guy is a very close friend and I know him pretty well. He really does not want to "rough it" if you know what I mean. I thought about telling him to call Ray Atkinson and to tell him I sent him but decided I didnt want a friend to have to hear that cussing. Would have been HILARIOUS though. Anybody have any suggestions? He would be willing to go to Canada if he had to but would prefer to keep it in the US. Thanks, Drummond

Drummond, I have a great place in Montana. He can hunt a meat animal or a monster trophy, they don't have horses but the lodging and food are very nice and home style. ~Ann

you might call these guys http://www.sandhillsoutfitters.com/ I hunted with them last year, they are super nice people and a great hunt area. Never rode a bull, but have shot some. NRA life member NRA LEO firearms instructor (retired) NRA Golden Eagles member

So, if it's about hunting in the snow and on horse back, have the ranch give him a horse and rent a snow machine, but there's many places to hunt them in texas... he needs to know it will cost AT LEAST 1500 to airfrieght hide, horns, and meat back jeffe opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Guys, Say an overseas hunter came for a trophy Buffalo, but didn't want the meat. Could he sell it on, or arrange fopr it to be shipped to someone else in the states? That is one big bag of meat to be paying for and not using. Rgds, FB
