Just make sure that you have the proper paperwork to bring the barrel into Canada.It may considered a gun part which requires an import permit. | |||

Rocky Mountain Rifles in Dawson Creek have done good work for me. FWIW, you don't need an import permit from Canadian authorities if you are bringing in a barrel blank as a gift. You will need an export permit from the US state department though. | |||
