Yes, it is terrible, but anyone that does not have brains enough to stay away from an area where a potentially dangerous wild animal is hanging out, gets what they are asking for.
They had been warned and they decided they would go ahead and try to get pictures, They did, but unfortunately, the bear got the photographer.
I live within 50 miles of this scene an wonder why it has taken so long for an event like this to happen. NJ and Pa share a large bear population along with high population of humans. It was only a matter of time before a run in. Yet NJ's Liberal Left Eco weenies fight each year to stop the bear hunting.
Very close to me. We only have a 6 day season which is in early dec not much of a chance to control the population. I am in the woods often walking and fishing but rarely see them. Bow hunting we see them more often.
