I normally do two or three out of state hunts a year. Normally a Big Fall hunt for a major animal, then a smaller type trips in the late winter fall.
Last year I did a free range blackbuck hunt, but never saw a black buck, but came home with a free range auodad, FR Ibex, and FR axis in velvet, plus a couple of axis does.
THis year I am going for a Trophy Alligator in March. The following year I am booked for a free range Blackbuck/Tactical hog hunt.
I am trying to figuire out what else is out there for a latewinter/ spring hunt.
I hope to collect another auodad this fall in West texas when I am Mule Deer Hunting.
I just cant get into shooting a Niglia for some reason yet, maybe one day.
I still need to get a big hard horned axis, so thats a for sure to do.
Been on a turkey trip to texas already.
What else is out there for this type of trip.
Not really interested in High Fenced exotics, only want to shoot free range.
Basically is a three day trip at the most.
I have to stay in the North america for a while till my boys are big enough.
What other trips are out there.
Let me know your thoughts.

Woodsie, I am jealous of your Mule deer hunt with Shockey, Can't wait to see the report on that hunt. If your looking for a 3 day hunt, I still have a Antelope hunt in New Mexico left in October (1st to 3rd). Let me know if that might peak your interest.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Ever think about Hawaii? I hunted there about 2 weeks ago and had a great time! I'll be back out there in February and thinking of adding another day of hunting.

I would go after Dama Gazelle, Addax and Scimitar Oryx. They might be off the hunting block soon. Some of my clients are looking at that right now.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

From Dec to April hogs are good here in CA. Far from a slam dunk hunt. You will EARN one if you come.

Zinfandel and venison are GOOD!
