They never did. That’s why Casey Brooks’ Bull is the pending world record.

Well, it’s either Hanford preserve or Blue mountains area is what I would assume

The pictures of the bull in peoples yard under the string of lights is interesting. Wonder what the real story is. I genuinely don’t know

If anyone is interested, Casey told his story to Outdoor Life. Measured at 482 4/8 Net. All the talk about the “hunt” and him “hunting hard” came down a bucket of apples and some alfalfa. Legal yes. Hard? My opinion. Think his ego got to him.

Hmmmmm

I wonder if that bull had a name since he was being fed. Pretty common for that.

Reminds me of "Goliath."

Durango 'bout 18 years ago. There was a giant mule deer known to the locals as "Goliath." He would go back and forth between BLM and the locals. Hunted him for 6 days- was always on BLM whenever we'd see him- I had landowner tags. Fucking massive - looked as if he had forks on forks. Now there some of the locals did not appreciate us hunting him. Was told he got smoked a couple weeks later on BLM land.

Hunted a lot of places with "named" brutes out there that are often well known/fed and protected by the locals.

I guess that elk was no different.

Machs nicht, he's in the salt and a job well done.

The man has over 80 bulls to his credit in his hunting career. This level of achievement is not by accident. Lots of internet bashing and doctored photos flying about. He is a driven hunter, the likes of which is very rare.
