We both agree that it was to be attached to a pack strap so it would never be forgotten at the truck or camp and used as an intergal part of your daily gear.

Will that keep the gun upright and not tilt to stick in the guys face behind you?
That's the complaint I have hunting with others that sling their rifles. Then they get P'd because I'm 40 feet behind them.

I won't have a sling on my guns. Had one hanging while sneaking up on a 6pt bull elk. Damned thing hooked a stob on a tree and dumped my ass. Far as I know the slings still in the brush there! Spooked the bull of course.

If you don't use a sling then my product can't be of any interest to you but I do have a question....

Why on Earth did you have a slung rifle on your shoulder during a stalk?

Slings are a useful tool when a hunter is glassing, using trekking poles and not to forget aiding with a steady aim.

I'm sure there are other good reasons to use a sling.

I use my cross strap for the same purpose, although your solution is much faster and keeps the sling higher on your shoulder.

Have you applied for a patent? If that is successful there are going to be all kinds of knock offs...

Yes I have applied for and recieved my patent for stainless steel, aluminum and thermoplastic versions.

Hopefully your IP attorney made a list of claims for any kind of material. But you were smart to get one.
