I'm back after some nice days in our hunting ground, weather was good, but it was not so many moose to see.
It has been warm weather last months, so we think our moose hasn't come down to where we hunt, from the mountain.

We got one female moose this trip, and then we have shot 5 so far, and have 5 left to shoot.
So we have some work to do before end of our hunting season. (31st October last hunting day)

Here is some of my pictures, but not so many hunting pictures.

It was fog this morning.

No one to see.

No one here either

This is a part of our hunting ground where I never have been.

My rifle

It's me who waiting

Thanks for posting! Great pictures of the Norwegian countryside. Could you possibly post a map and highlight the area we're looking at?

338winmag,

What type of 2 way radios are you using? Do you recall how many watts and what the stated max. range is? Thx.

Is the dog used for locating the moose after it has been shot?

It's privat ground we hunt at, so we pay the owners to hunt here.
This dog we are using is one who can follow moose or deer if they are vonded. But we also use her to find moose and move them to our hunters who waiting.
The tracked vehicle is an Ironhorse as we call it, it's a Jonsered ironhorse who save us for alot of work.

This is a map where you can see in which area we hunt.
