Draw results were not due until June 15th, but I just checked and my results were already posted. Drew a buck tag. Antelope is always a fun hunt!

I drew my buck tag!!!

Now if I can just find that buck I saw last weekend. I was building fence with Dad and saw a nice buck. He was probably between 14-15" on one horn and the other was a deformed one that came out 90 degrees from his head. The area I hunt doesn't produce much in the way of big bucks but that one would sure be a trophy!

I drew my 2nd choice, a doe tag. Not a problem! At least I'll be in the field!

I'm happy to go antelope hunting. If this hunt is successful, that will make my 28th!

Taylor,

I biffed a shot on a non-typical like that last year. Gut wrenching, he was one helluva trophy! Mine had one horn going straight out in front of his head

That wasn’t the biggest goat I’ve ever seen in Eastern Colorado but one I will remember and definitely spend a little time looking for this year!
