Looking for an Pronghorn Hunt

A friend and I are looking for a pronghorn hunt this September. Most likely Texas or New Mexico, but we would entertain other ideas.

We would want a guided hunt. Trophy Rams ( we care nothing for record books ). We would probably want some sort of lodging, we hate to stay in hotels on hunting trips. But we don't like fancy.

Any ideas????

I did an antelope hunt with Kiowa Hunting Services lasy August. Saw lots of goats and got a very nice representative head. It didn't make a book but was a very good looking animal.

Their phone # is: 1 (575) 9330 or cell phone: 1 (575)447-7654.

If you get their brochure, there is a picture of me and my goat. I believe all their hunts for antelope are on landowner tag hunts so you're not competint with everybody and their cousins. I'll just say I was happy with my hunt.
FWIW, I've been trying to draw for antelope here in Arizona for the last 31 years, including this year. haven't drawn a tag yet so I did the hunt with them last August. Didn't draw for elk this year either, so if I don't draw for der, won't know till August, I'll probably do another hunt of some kind with them this year. I just may look at his cow elk hunt so I can get enough meat to fill the freezer. If you call, tell Tim that Paul B. sent you.

I may have two trophy hunts left in NM on 12,000 acres of private ranch property. I'll know later today if your interested. This ranch only takes a few bucks each year and they look for bucks in the 75" and above range. Drop me a line if you want all the details.

The season here in Texas usually starts the first weekend in Ocotober. Here are two more outfitters you can check with in the panhandle that hunt near Dalhart.

Jeremy Gugelmeyer at Sagebrush Hunts
Link-Sagebrush Hunts

I have hosted two pronghorn hunts with Jeremy.

Clay Pope at Pope Brothers Guide Service
Link-Pope Brothers

I have not hunted antelope with Clay, but I have hosted many other hunts with him here in Texas and I know he has some great goat land up there.

Last years pronghorn with Jeremy.

The Duck Valley Indian Reservation offers a guided hunt for, I believe, $2750 for two, not including hotel. The reservation is on the Idaho-Nevada line and it's nice country.
