Good point. Seems the odds were much worse this year in my hunts than they have been in the past.

DRAT! I and my two hunting buddies were not drawn for either elk or deer. Looks like the General Season for bull elk and dder, for us. That's okay. Lots of elk and deer in the general areas.

My sons and I didn't draw either, but we'll just go in the general season.

I drew Elk in 43 this year, still no luck on the unit 44 deer though. My buddy put in for the same hunt for elk and didn't draw either. Oh Well, one elk is a lot to carry out on a packframe.

you guys just got to drive a little and hunt the panhandle I would mention the general season regs but then everyone would know (5 days of any weapon any elk, and deer at the same time).
