I am looking at the Foodsaver Pro II. Is this overkill? I have never used one of these before but my firend has one and swaers by them. I hate dealing with freezer paper! | ||

I'm a professional chef. I have used pro machines at work for 20 years, and have the FoodSaver Professional II at home. I can't say that model is overkill as I have never used their less expensive one, but I wouldn't be without one at home. The FoodSaver Pro II is an adequate home machine used properly. It beats any other method of wrapping food for freezing, or other refrigerated storage. | |||

Definintely worth the investment. We got one 2 years ago. Made the job faster, cleaner, and the meat keeps much longer. | |||
