"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

I agree 100% but the fact is that SCI has bigger fish to fry. I wish they would focus on issues that actually effect the conservation of a species.
Having said that, I am glad that I got out of that hell hole!

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

This is exactly what SCI should be doing. This is what people pay them to do. It’s what people expect them to do. And I’m pretty sure that CA is one of SCI’s biggest money maker.

Wish they would have done this a long time ago.

This ban is the result of a voter proposition. SCI should sue on the basis that this law impacts our right to liberty and happiness. We need to move this to a civil rights issue.

Good for SCI. This is exactly what they should be doing. Makes me glad to be a member.

good to hear. There no reason you shouldn't be able to bring a legally hunted trophy into the state

I'm in the high tech business. This is one reason, among MANY, of why I would never move to CA. Unless of course I kept a 2nd house in another state with all my weapons and cat trophies.

Idiots.

If this voter proposition is allowed to stand, what prevents any state from making any taxidermy illegal?

What would it take to make wearing a fur coat illegal?

You know, this COULD make a LOT of guys who never thought about SCI, want to join it.

And it could transform them in national size and scope into another NRA, but for the purpose of preserving hunting.
