Excellent, very objective and scientific evaluation. I read with most interest the part regarding recovered deer with a trained dog.

Is there any chance that you guys will allow this in the near future? Over here, we are required by law to have a trained trailing dog "available", after reading the article it makes even more sense to me.

A good trailing dog is priceless under some circumstances.

My good ole' huntin' buddy "Tracker" was killed by wild dogs a couple of years ago but, man did he do his job while he was around. That dog would find deer when there wasn't a drop of blood to be found.

In many instances just an ole' mutt around the house will find a deer for ya.

Tracking dogs should be allowed everywhere IMO.

Good Luck!
