DUKRe: SC Cedar Knoll Deer Study
Excellent, very objective and scientific evaluation. I read with most interest the part regarding recovered deer with a trained dog.
Is there any chance that you guys will allow this in the near future? Over here, we are required by law to have a trained trailing dog "available", after reading the article it makes even more sense to me.

ReloaderA good trailing dog is priceless under some circumstances.
My good ole' huntin' buddy "Tracker" was killed by wild dogs a couple of years ago

but, man did he do his job while he was around. That dog would find deer when there wasn't a drop of blood to be found.
In many instances just an ole' mutt around the house will find a deer for ya.
Tracking dogs should be allowed everywhere IMO.
Good Luck!
