Wondering if anyone else in the Greenwich, Westport, Fairfield area? Know deer hunting around could be good - just need some organization. + have some duck hunting.

I found Connecticut deer hunting somewhat frustrating, public land is sparse. The best opportunities seem to be on privately owned farms. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

We moved there in September 1992, left in September 2000. I had a good time there, but the hunting was thin. We were not around Greenwich, further north. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

I rebuilt a power plant in Stamford in 2006 and used to see deer and turkeys all the time in the plant. Yeah, my old house (before Sandy...) used to be @ the Nowalk power plant, tons of good Toms + good bucks. But the manager never let me hunt it....
