Bharal76....you should post on the Alaska and Canada forums as you will probably be going to Alaska or British Columbia. There are also a handful of outfitters that offer goat hunts in the southern Yukon and southwest Northwest Territories.

By far British Columbia has the most outfitters offering mountain goat hunts. A good place to look is the Guide Outfitters of British Columbia website, as well as the similar outfitter association websites for Alaska, Yukon and the Association of Mackenzie Mountain Outfitters.

Good luck with your search. There are lots of very good goat outfitters. Biggest thing is to be in very good condition for strenuous climbing.

Bolen & Lewis in British Columbia are excellent. Probably as good as anyone and better than most.

Dennis Zadra, Lonesome Dove Outfitters, Cordova, AK. Think he is a good one to consider. No recent info, have not been to Cordova for a few years now. Worth a look.

Husband Rick did a February goat hunt with Bolen and Lewis and had a GREAT time. He cannot say enough about how he enjoyed the hunt.

Link to his report.

Bob Milligan in BC. Monster winter billies and near 100% success. I’d hunt with him again in a heartbeat.
