We went out with the crossbows yesterday morning and we got set up about 150 yards apart at either end of a small meadow in the woods that I always see a ton of deer in.

Right before dawn, a tall 8 point came in almost underneath my daughter's blind. She couldn't get a shot at him because she is short and couldn't lean out of the blind far enough.

The buck wandered my way and I had him at 50 yards but passed on shooting him as I'm going to try to get my daughter on him next weekend.

Here's a fuzzy photo taken at half light when he paused about 60 yards away from me.

I have fingers crossed for both of you Frank but hoping if works out for your daughter.
Could you put a small step of some kind in her stand to give her a little more shooting height ?

Yesterday, I put in a taller chair and built a 4" tall platform over the floor.

We'll be out early Saturday morning together.

I don't care if I shoot a deer with a sharp stick, but I would like to get a coyote with one. My game cameras showed a lot of daytime coyote trafiic up there in the last couple of weeks.
