Been swapping blinds and rifles. Using the 375 in the morning at the closer shot and 7 mag at the longer one. On a whim I took the Ruger to the long shot this after noon. This guy comes out chasing a doe before the feeder goes off! The Ruger is zeroed at 200 but I misjudge the distance as the buck is leaving, shot goes low! He shows up again to my left and stops at maybe 225. I aim a little higher and he takes off but I see him stagger behind some brush! Rugered another, not huge but when you are subdivided on three sides he will do.

Nice one. What bullet and at what velocity? Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. He looks like you owe him money." - Robert Ruark, Horn of the Hunter, 1953 NRA Life, SAF Life, CRPA Life, DRSS lite

You sure seem to have fun with that .375! And that's a very nice buck, by the way. Bobby Μολὼν λαβέ The most important thing in life is not what we do but how and why we do it. - Nana Mouskouri
