The 375 Ruger is not just for pigs
Been swapping blinds and rifles. Using the 375 in the morning at the closer shot and 7 mag at the longer one. On a whim I took the Ruger to the long shot this after noon. This guy comes out chasing a doe before the feeder goes off! The Ruger is zeroed at 200 but I misjudge the distance as the buck is leaving, shot goes low! He shows up again to my left and stops at maybe 225. I aim a little higher and he takes off but I see him stagger behind some brush! Rugered another, not huge but when you are subdivided on three sides he will do.

260 gr Nosler Partition at about 2650. I do not push it too hard. I loaded it up to max then backed off till it was more fun to shoot!

You sure seem to have fun with that .375! And that's a very nice buck, by the way. tu2 tu2
