My boys first deer!

Well my boy got his first deer today a nice 3x3 couse deer. As you can tell he is happy. Shot him with a 250-3000 using a 90gr sierra hollowpoint the first shot took his liver out and the second shot took out his lungs and heart so much for liver and onion and fried heart thumbdown

Thats awesome! Congratulations on your sons first deer! The smile on his face says it all, I can only imagine that yours was every bit as big.

That's a great Coues buck. Congratulations to you (guide) your son (marksman). I can remember when my boys shot their first deer..great thrill and sure makes Daddy proud.

Hey - great first deer - I know how happy he must be feeling Smiler you must be real proud ....... but do hammer home the 'finger out of the trigger guard' thing.......even on unloaded firearms. Please.

Don't take that as negative, I agree with Ian. Habits like that end up becoming accidental discharges and nobody enjoys them.

FANTASTIC...I always appreciate the pictures of kid's trophies! And "hat's off" to you for raising your young man in the great outdoors. Nice buck and one he will remember hunting with his Dad forever.
