The battle to keep our second amendment rights has never been stronger. This is a battle. If you don't belong to the NRA, or other rights groups be they local or regional or national then join now. If you belong, then increase your membership level. Or just make a donation. I bet less than half members of This forum belong or support any group fighting for us. They leave it to the others to do it. Well, that's not enough. Do it now before it's too late and the right is gone.

Trump as much as you can. He is the ONLY choice this go round.

What part of "shall not be infringed" do these political assholes (Dems for the most part) not understand. I'm so damned mad, they take an oath to "support and defend", then work full time to get around the Constitution.

Everyone needs to wake up. We ARE losing. Whether because of apathy, ignorance or both is debatable. Look at what the HSUS has done to Sea World over the whales. They had Sea World place an ad in the local paper just last week against shark fishing. We have major airlines banning trophy shipments. We have hotels cancelling events that are hunting related.

We are in real trouble on both the gun front and the hunting front. Personally, I see the NRA as the only possibility of helping us.

An attack on any element of hunting is an attack on all of us. Whether it is squirrels or elephants, they are ultimately after us all.

We all need to take this seriously. If we don't , we are going to lose it all. We all need to get involved and stop the bickering between us.

For whatever it is worth, I have been a life member for many years. I am a founding member of the NRA Hunters Leadership Forum. I gave them a major contribution this year FOR the election. At age 60 with retirement right around the corner, I did not need to do this. I had no choice the way I see it.

Amen Larry, we may never have another chance to keep our rights as gun owners and hunters. The fight is now, not down the road.

I went from an annual member to a life membership during the first Clinton rein.

I went from a lifer to an endowment member during the Georg W. election cycle, when we were sweating out Gore.

I upgraded again to a Patron member a couple months ago once I saw the handwriting on the wall for this election cycle..

I don't know if I'll ever be in a position to upgrade to Benefactor, but I'll make my regular contributions all the same!
