Josh, was my gripe with you, or with someone else?

I apologize for taking your subject off track, but at NO POINT did I say anything derogatory about the bull you killed!

It is an OPEN forum and I just do not happen to agree with Mark Young's philosophy.

If you feel that was a slam at the bull you killed, you are wrong. Go back and look at my responses. Nothing in them was directed at you or the animal you killed. It was all directed at a response by another member that I took exception to, and you were NOT that member.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

Good looking bull, Josh. Glad you got to see some pretty country up here. I shot a similiar one in 08 and he resides on my wall right above me as I type.

Enjoy the memory. BTW, what is the stock on the rifle. I like its lines.

Tremendous bull josh!!!!! I apply I'm me, vt, and nh. No luck yet, I always say I'd kill the first bull I'd see, but if it came down to it I'd hold out I think?!?! Haha! Had a buddy draw in zone 2 a couple years ago and passed several 40-50 inch bulls and couldn't get good camera angles so he never shot one. He's in his sixties and will likely never draw again. That's just him, he also passed 3 300-330 class bulls archery hunting last year, to each his own... Again congrats on an A1 bull!!!

Is the Maine moose a sub species? If so how many moose species are there in the States?

Great looking animal by the way.

CHC---Can't you for once STFU and let a good thread alone with your opinions that aren't needed or wanted on one like this!!! Nobody asked you what the hell you think should be shot or passed on this thread and you have again fucked up a good thread by repeatedly making the same post over and over that people keep telling you wasn't asked for or needed! You could have easily voiced your opinion by PM and not hijacked this thread like you have become famous for. What a great animal---Congrats Josh!!!

Andrew,

There are 3 subspecies of North American moose. The largest are the Alaska-Yukon bulls followed by the Canada and the smallest being the Shiras variety found in the West.

Very nice bull.

I passed on the first elk I ever saw, a five point. Shot a 6x7 a few hours later. John Wootters once said "You don't shoot big ones pulling the trigger on small ones."
