Can any of you recommend a good outfitter for a fully-guided Pronghorn hunt in either New Mexico or West Texas?

I would like to stay under $2,500 total....

Thanks.

Why would you need an outfitter for NM? It's not hard to pull off a DIY hunt there and a whole lot cheaper. For that matter, you can pull off DIY hunts for speedgoats everywhere they are found on public land. I realize that doesn't apply in TX because there isn't much public land, but it holds true everywhere else.

Hell in WY, which has the biggest speedgoat population of all, you can get a non-resident buck tag for about $250 and 2 non-resident doe tags for less than $40 each. Total cost for tags would be less than $350 and you can hunt millions of acres of public land for free. Add in the costs to drive there from TX, a few bucks for food and a motel if you don't want to rough it and you can do the trip for $1000 and take 3 speedgoats.

But, it's your money. If you want to drop $2500 for a speedgoat, have at it.

The outfit I book for has concluded their antelope hunts for the year. They offer landowner tags at $2,500 & $3,500 (B&C Antelope). They just took 2 @ 82 and 1 @ 84 B&C. Drawing a tag and finding quality bucks in NM can be a problem.

There are leftover tags in WY and millions of acres to hunt on in public land and walk on areas. I've taken 26 there in DIY hunts over the years.

Wade,

If you can come to Wyoming I can offer you two opportunities for antelope on private land for $2,450 all in.
