Check out this huge aoudad taken by Rick McCue.

My wife and I just did an aoudad hunt and it's as much a sheep hunt as Dall or bighorn, but a lot less expensive and at lower elevations. It was great fun and I'd recommend it to anybody thinking of trying a sheep hunt.
My wife took a nice ram at just under 31". McCue's is just exceptional!

ryno, that rams name surely was Giganto! What a toad! He has mass to go with length. That would have made an awesome life size mount.

The rest of what I know about that auodad, he was shot in 2004 on the outskirts of the Davis Mountains. It is a free ranging auodad.

Hmmm - that first Aoudad does not look as big as stated in the link; at least the bases.

The second link, of the skull, that looks like a 38" incher.

And remember... NEVER shoot an Aoudad behind the shoulder. I know more guys that have lost their Aoudad this way than I can count. That shot is a GUT shot. Lungs between the shoulders, heart in front of the shoulder.

Pound for pound, toughest game on the planet.
