That Oregon bighorn sure got my attention. Good for the winner.

That's some serious cash for a tag. Idaho too.

I didn't go though all of them, but I saw that the AZ desert sheep went for $285K. Now THAT IS serious cash. Eeker

There ain't no critter worth that much.

Dang wish I would have seen this before. Those BT 99 trap guns interested me.

Provincial/Tribal/state sheep tags are always expensive. So that wasn't much of a shocker.

The rest of the hunts were typical prices. Some were good deals but most were not.

Weatherby Award auction and sheep show are never the cheapest auctions.

YEP.

It's worth EXACTLY what someone is willing to pay for it.

We should be all happy for the money it brings for conservation and expansion of protected land and game animals

MT sheep tag was $ 280,000.down by a bunch from the past.We still got good rams in 690

The Ft belknap tag went for $ 125,000. Their area doesn't have big sheep unless the Mt fwp transferred rams there.More than likely they will try & sneak down into breaks under darkness to get a ram. Will be tough for mt fwp to patrol as several years ago a warden was detained by tribal police on a county road. The governer had to get involved to fix the mess.

HVRhunter,

Is that the incident from the video?

Or was that BLM/Forest Service? Same issues, just different uniforms.

I never saw a video, just all over the local news and living in a close knit town ,there is more info that is not reported.

That’s not entirely accurate. We donated a tag and it shows it “sold” for $5000 but I know we raised at least $30k with it.
