762 lb on the hook Shiras mose. BLR308 165 gr barnes X penetrated 54", lost one petal on deflection from the spine, bullet was found under the hide at the front shoulder. He went down hard but got up on his front legs and pawded his way down a hill before one in the ear stopped him. 75 yards running straight away 2570 fps. RTFQ! That stands for: Read The Fucking Question! (Normally I don't use language like this on the internet but I'm not sure that you would have understood the abbreviation "F******".) No one said that the 308 should be used for Grizzly or Cape Buff or Elephants. Or that the 308 was the best choice for anything, everyone else has related first hand experience of what animals that they have taken with the 308. No one else has blamed poor shooting on the 308 but you. Are you so narrow between the scratching pads that you can't comprehend the question?
