You may try Cole Nelson at Longview Alberta he offers moose,elk,mule and whitetail hunts [ 403-558-2433 ] I saw more game at there place then anywhere I ever hunted this year.Good luck Bill | |||

Dave, I went to Vermejo three times with my husband on his elk hunts (successful all 3 times) and once we took my father-in-law as a surprise fishing trip for his 70th birthday. The lodging, food, fishing, and hunting is fantastic. Vermejo is 588,000 acres of incredible beauty. Ted Turner purchased Vermejo in 1996. Shooting an elk here in the 300 point range is pretty much a given. This is not a high fence operation and completely free range. I have hunted cow elk on Vermejo ranch but not with Turners outfit....the lodge is huge!!!! The price is huge also.
