How many times do you get clients subsidising their own hunts at the expense of their friends that they have brought along?

It seems to me to be an increasing trend - either that or I'm getting more paraonoid.

Have any others found their friends doing that to them?

I would say then they are not really your friend. shame

If I was to set up a hunt out of province /country I would want to share it with my buddies, equal share...here is the cost of the hunt, everyone pays their own share (hunt/tags/flight) -split costs of renatl vehicle/fuel/ hotels if needed.

If your buddy setting up a hunt and say takes 3 buddies and you get a break on price from the outfiitter, pass it around-so everyone can share in it.

With todays technology, everyone can check the internet to see the website with costs of the hunts from the outfitter.

Toss your friends (so called friends and find some new ones b/c buddies dont dish buddies.

Thats the way I see it.

In my experiences, clients will approach me as a group. "What kind of deal can you get 4 of us?" Same is true with 6 to 8. They always request that the deal be for the group. I then speak to my Outfitters and we offer a group discount if possible. Tags, licenses, Gov't fees and the like are not negotiable, but sometimes it is possible to take some off the daily rates or make a bargain package. Sounds like a "friend" thinks your just a pawn in their game. LDK

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
