| Can we do a "call in" vote on who we want to see bitten by the bear. Michael Moore comes immediately to mind. (bears do eat carrion don't they?) |

| Watched it last night, with my left-wing Aunt coincidentally; the best thing about the show is that it talks a lot about that grizzly-activist Tim-whatever, that got himself and his girlfriend turned into bear shit last fall. It was the first time I'd seen him on video, a complete doorknob. I had great fun telling my Aunt how beneficial it was to have this idiot removed from the gene-pool

| This special didn't distinguish between predatory attacks and defensive attacks by bears. It looks like these folks suffered the former, not the latter. Gary Shelton has several very interesting books on the subject. |

| I know a guy who retired from the U.S. Nat'l. Park Service, who lived most of his live in Alaska. He has killed 33 Griz which were "problem" bears. He told me that anyone who "plays around" with a Griz, or thinks a Griz is not extremely unpredictable and dangerous, is an absolute fool.
I happen to believe him.
