Very nice buck. I have one that looks a lot like him but the brows aren't quite as long.

Tell us about the hunt. What did you kill him with?

got him just north of jameson, mo. he was chasing 2 smaller bucks that were chasing a doe. used a 308 BLR with factory hornady 165gr LM's. I know this is a reloading site but those just work really well out of that rifle. the shot was about 120-130 yards across a small pasture. took him in the neck and he was DRT.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
