Sorry savage, but I've got a steady guy. If you ever make it to Texas though, let me know because we both enjoy meeting new hunters and we're good for a drink or two if you're in the Houston area. Thanks! Shannon

I absolutely like it all. Music helps fill out the soul. I will even say I like some RAP. Run DMC isn't too bad, but Hammer is still the best. I was raised on old country (Cash, Faron Young, Marty Robbins, Hank Sr.)and still like it along with George Strait and Randy Travis. I have a liking for Elton John, Journey, Kansas and Shaggy as well as Linkin Park and Evanescence. I just like it all.

Did I just see someone post, who likes country AND rap? Good lord. That hurts. By the way, do you know why the call it Rap? Because Country had the patent on the word Crap and they had to drop the "C". ;^)

quote:HV, In all honesty I dont recall who does "The rodeo song". Just threw it in for giggles. #3 was Country Joe Mcdonald and the fish, remember Woodstock? You nailed the rest.. 120mm, I feel your pain, I cant abide (c)rap either. Even though I like 95% classic rock I gotta give up some reckognition for the passing of Johnny Cash. If I MUST listen to country music then let it be old school, Hank Snow, Eddy Arnold, Loretta Lynn and so on. I still remember watching some of them on Hee Haw, Who was that old fart with the glasses who used to play the fiddle with Roy Clark? Incredible talent.. I like the traditional country music. Just can't take the New York City accountant country music they play now. I'd go out walking after midnight with Patsy Cline any day of the week! Johnny was the man. The army did a commercial this year where he plays and sings Tom Petty's "Won't Back Down" while showing footage from WTC and Afghanistan. I'm usually sniffling by the end of it....
