Jim_ B.I for got to ask... any opinions on the size of the critter that left this print?

Mark Dobrenskitough to tell much from the pic, but it appears to be a rear track. If so do you have a front pad pic? What did the front pad measure accross?
Thx

Jim_ B.Unfortunely I don't. My buddy sent me the pic and it is of a rear track. I'm guessing rear pad width to be about 5.5". The leatherman next to it is 4". He should have laid it in the track. Be that as it may, are back foot track measurements at all indicative of the size of the bear that made them?

Mark DobrenskiTo me they are not real helpful. It is very tough to tell from the pic but to me it looks to be of about average size and not real big.
I am a far gone bruin fanatic and look at about 50-60 a year here in my home state.
They sure are a neat critter.

pioneeroutfittersTo me it looks as if that track is from the front and back feet. I think the bear stepped into its front track with its back foot. Just my oppinion.
