The rain finally stopped in South Texas for a little while and I was able to get out and look at some deer. Looks like its gonna be a good year for antler growth. Here are a couple of pictures I took at my ranch.

I'm going to be in Texas around the middle of October, if you need some help with anything on the ranch.

Man-O-Man, those sure got me "holding my breath" and not moving. In the last flick, the Deer in the background seems to be having trouble holding that rack up. Wink Might have to help him get it to the ground. Big Grin

And the last one in the middle flick sure has some fine width.

But the first one is standing perfect for a Heart shot.

That sure is a fine bunch to see in one morning.

Do you consider them takers, or are they just takers by my standards?

How close were you?

Great photos, thanks for sharing them. It's amazing how green South Texas can get with good rains. I love seeing the bucks in velvet. It's like seeing wrapped presents under the tree.
