Here is my post of a south texas deer hunt from last weekend. I didn't want to type it again. This was one of my best hunting weekend.

Yea, the skinning pole was busy that weekend. We put 6 hogs and 4 deer in the cooler before the weekend was over. My 9 point weighed 225# live weigth. Biggest bodied deer I had ever seen in Texas. Made the other deer in the cooler look like babies.

Hey Harold, I spotted this some time ago when I was running short on time. Sure is a fine story, good Deer and a couple of right fine Hogs.

Did the Millett get used on this Hunt?

Best of luck to you.

Hey Stretch,

I am glad you got that 7mm STW away from the range and into the field. Congrats on a great hunt.

I am off to the range with my 7mm STW later today to dial in some of the 168 gr. Berger's.

Thanks Bob, Let us know how the Bergers work. It was a great feeling to get to put the STW through its paces. It performed flawlessly and has really impressed me.

Now I need to start to stretch its legs and see how far I can shoot it. I am sure it can shoot farther than I can for now.

Congrats on the hunt. Good to see another 2cooler on here. Charles Helm pointed me here and I've had a hard time leaving ever since!
