From my friend Adam:

My Brother's daughter and my daughter both scored on big bucks. Colorado, 3rd season. Sydney's (14 yr. old) was Saturday morning. 27 wide 4x4 scored 173. About a 200 yard shot. Journi's (12 yr. old) was this morning 29 wide 3x4, haven't scored him yet, I had patients at 9:00 am! He should be in that 170 range. Imari (15 yr. old) still has a tag so we should be able to go 3 for 3. Journi's was 220 yards away, one shot, dropped him in his tracks all on film of course! Not bad for her first deer, huh? They where both shot with the 270, 130 gr. barnes tsx.

Another kill/harvest (whatever cranks your tractor), this morning by Emari!

I hope I can get a mule deer that nice some day!

Beautiful. They better mount those; they might be the biggest they ever get!

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Very nice looking deer indeed. You should mount them as they are their first. I only wish I could have mounted my first ever deer but my father is not a hunter and would not do it. To this day I wish I had the mount.

Doc,

Kudos on the girl's shooting GREAT Bucks.
I love seeing kids score on hunting trips.
I'd rather they shoot Bucks like that than me shooting one...

There may be another pic of Adam's wife with her buck this year too. He said he emailed it but I didn't get it. Likely because the jpg size was HUGE. So there will be 4 pics!

So far as I've been told, all shots were in the 200 yard range. Not bad shooting!!

That is awesome…..beautiful girls and it looks like they enjoyed their hunts. My 7 year old daughter is hunting this year with her 10 year old sister. No luck so far but will keep trying. Never thought hunting with your children could be so much fun!
